We use a process of sublimation printing for transferring high-quality images onto a polyester cotton mixed fabric for our photo quilts. This printing process uses a special type of ink with a special paper. The ink turns into a gas when heated and then bonds with the fibers of the fabric, resulting in a permanent and vibrant image.

What Size is Right for You?

T-Shirt Quilts can be used in so many ways. The size you choose defines your quilt’s utility. Here are some tips to help you decide:

Lap: Our smallest size is the perfect memento for your man cave, or to hang on the wall of your nursery.
Jumbo Lap: Curl up on the couch and stream some home videos under your jumbo lap quilt.
Picnic: A picnic-sized quilt makes the perfect play mat for little ones, and provides enough length for a lap blanket for two.
Twin XL: The twin XL size was created to fit dorm-style beds.
Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes are all standard to fit the beds in your home.

Photo Quilt How It Works

The first decision to make is the size of the photo quilt that you are interested in. This will determine the number of photos that you will need. The photo block is a 12" x 12" block and a 2 inch strip of fabric surrounds each block with a cornerstone.

Go through your photos and decide what you would like to include. The bigger the photo in pixels the better the outcome will be. If you have photos that have fewer pixels and will not expand to a 12" x 12" block with the quality that you are interested in you can choose multiple images for one block and we can put them together on a block for you. Please don't crop or change the photos as we will need to work with the entire image to have the best results with the process. Images should be larger than 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels. We will share the final prepared images with you before they are moved to fabric for your review.

Please complete the order form online. This will help you get your project on a radar and we can begin to schedule. Once we receive all of the photos we will require a 50% deposit. We will send you an invoice for the deposit and you can pay online or mail it to us.

We will work with you to provide a place that you can upload your images to.

We will provide you with the final images that we will use for the quilt so you can review and approve them. We will work with you on any changes to cropping that are needed.

After we receive the approval of your images we will use a sublimation process and transfer the photos using specials dyes with heat infusing into the fabric. The blocks will be cut to size and a proposed layout will be sent to you for review, changes and finalization.

We will create your quilt. This will include sewing together all of the photo blocks to make the quilt top and then putting the quilt top, batting and backing onto Longarm machine to quilt. Finally binding will be added completing your quilt. Please plan on 3 - 5 weeks for the creation of your quilt. If you have a need to have your quilt returned sooner please contact us so we can discuss your special order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Once complete we will carefully package your quilt to be sent to you.

Graduation and the Holiday Season are very busy and we take in orders on a first come first-served basis. You can hold a spot during these busy times by completing the online order form and deposit payment. Then send in your shirts.
